Matchmaker for Discord / Valorant
Valorant's ranked ladder runs 25 tiers deep — Iron 1 to Radiant — and a Discord LFG channel with no rank filter puts an Iron player and a Diamond in the same thread, where neither gets a useful game. Unrated drops the rank number entirely, so "anyone wanna play" posts have zero signal on whether someone can actually hold an angle. Premier makes it worse: it's not ranked by individual tier at all but by team division, so a group that's never played together has no way to know if they belong in the same Premier bracket, let alone find four other people at that division who are free right now.
Matchmaker pairs you with Valorant players at a comparable rank, using the same tier ladder the game itself uses:

No rank tracking — matched by party size only, for a competitive-style match without ranked stakes.
Division-based (Open, Intermediate, Advanced, Elite, Contender, Invite) rather than the Iron-Radiant ladder — Premier ranks teams by division, not individual tier.

Yes — all 25 Competitive tiers from Iron 1 to Radiant.
Premier uses division level (Open through Invite) instead of the Iron-Radiant ladder, since Riot ranks Premier teams by division rather than individual rank.
Yes — Unrated matches by party size only, there's no rank requirement.
No — unlike League of Legends, Valorant matching is rank- and mode-based only; there's no region parameter in this queue.
Yes. Valorant players from separate Discord servers are pooled into one matchmaking queue per mode, so you aren't limited to your own server's member list.
