Matchmaker for Discord / Rocket League
Rocket League Competitive isn't five separate modes — it's one ranked queue with a playlist selector (1v1 Duel, 2v2 Doubles, 3v3 Standard, Rumble, Hoops), and the party size you need is locked to whichever playlist you pick: 1 for Duel, 2 for Doubles, 3 for Standard or the extra modes. A Discord post asking for "a Doubles partner" that doesn't also nail down rank just gets you someone at the wrong skill level for the format you actually want to play.
Matchmaker pairs you with Rocket League players at a comparable rank, using the same tier ladder the game itself uses:
Pick your playlist — 1v1 Duel, 2v2 Doubles, 3v3 Standard, Rumble, or Hoops — plus the Bronze-through-Supersonic Legend rank for that playlist.

No — Rocket League tracks rank per playlist, so set the rank that matches whichever playlist you're queuing.
Yes. Rocket League players from separate Discord servers are pooled into one matchmaking queue, so you aren't limited to your own server's member list.
