Matchmaker for Discord / Apex Legends
Apex is built around 3-player squads — there's no 5-stack to fill, just you and up to two others, so getting the last spot wrong (wrong rank, wrong mode) wastes the whole squad, not just one seat. Ranked Leagues runs an 8-tier ladder from Rookie to Apex Predator, while casual play splits across Trios, Duos, and a rotating Mixtape playlist that changes week to week — a plain "LFG" post can't say whether you want ranked Trios at your rank or just whatever Mixtape mode happens to be live right now.
Matchmaker pairs you with Apex players at a comparable rank, using the same tier ladder the game itself uses:
Rookie-through-Apex Predator ladder. Squads of up to 3, matching Apex's own squad size.
No rank requirement — choose Trios, Duos, or the current Mixtape playlist.
/joingame and pick Apex Legends, your mode, and your rank.Running your own server? Read how to create a Apex LFG Discord server.
Apex squads are 3 players by design — there's no larger stack to fill, so the queue matches that cap exactly.
Trios, Duos, and the current rotating Mixtape playlist — all no-rank casual modes, matched by party size only.
Rookie, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, and Apex Predator — the same 8 tiers Respawn uses.
Yes. Apex players from separate Discord servers are pooled into one matchmaking queue per mode, so you aren't limited to your own server's member list.
